It’s finally here, the much-anticipated global day of giving. Pat yourself on the back for all your hard work, but don’t kick back and relax just yet!

Monitor and update your platforms all day long. Share appeals but also make sure to share and respond to posts by supporters. Calling out your supporters will make them feel appreciated and special, making them more likely to interact with and share your posts. Don’t miss any opportunities to gain more exposure for your organization! Use hashtags so you show up in conversations throughout the day.

The more information you post, the more relevant your campaign becomes, meaning your cause will be on the minds of your donors throughout the entire day. Build excitement as you provide constant updates on the amount you have raised so far and how much more you need in order to reach your winning goal – keep the momentum going!
Do something fun and unique on social media such as creating a special hashtag for your campaign, using Facebook LIVE throughout the day, or using Instagram stories.

Send out a message first thing on Giving Tuesday reminding people that today is the day to give! Update those who have donated on the progress of your campaign, letting them know how close you are to “Fully Funded”. You could even send a message out towards the end of the day letting supporters know that time is running out and it is not too late to support your cause.
